Days in, nights out

Too many winters in my eyes

Will I see you out and about

Or will reality fill my heart with lies?

Too far from my reach

As the city around us sleeps

Like acquaintances of old

A honey bee, you came buzzing me

In my inner vision, I saw your smile

Bright eyes and shapely lips

In a picture frame, unknown the time
Unknown the galaxies apart

Unknown the ages back

When I made you smile
