They were frightening in the darkness
They had rainbows in their eyes

Amidst the sandcastles
Ashes of the past
Deep below, in the eye of the tornado
Where eyes close and breath runs out fast

Is the steampunk city
A palace of clockworks and gears
Your dreams come alive
But also manifest your fears

An oasis of life in the land of dead
Sands of time blow me away to another land
There the dagger seals away whatever beasts there might lay
Under the sky of gears emotions overwhelm
